Screencast-O-Matic is a great tool to use with other presentation tools. We can explore speaking the math language through this technology. Below is an example of something a student will write about in their math journal. Adding this technology will give the students the opportunity to speak it too. I would put this in a Google Doc, then share with my students so they can bring it up on their computer.
My Google Doc is : https://docs.google.com/document/d/1oamLToZqSU2T1Mtu7yvEHYhQ4Vea4nQWJQ5Rd-xJd64/edit?usp=sharing
A screen shot of my Google Doc is below. Students will pull up the sample problem then use Screencast-O-Matic to talk about it.

I did a trial run of my video explaining how I created this and possible student answers. The video has the ability to be shared back to me in Google Drive. I had to convert it to a YouTube video in order to upload it to my website but you have the option to make it a regular video file as well.
Screencast-O-Matic can be used for any type of presentation Another option for my district is that students can use a Google Slide presentation and use this to talk through it as well. Whatever you have pulled up on your computer (presentation, video, pictures, etc.) it will record it. You can click to anywhere in your computer and it will record it, if it is in the recording window.
